Greeting,
Since the time i discovered aion in late 2000 i started to have a more prononced interest in the mmorpg scene. While i enjoy and usualy play around my characters background in any games i had, in RP fashion, it was only later on that i started doing rp in those type of games.
Since then i have experienced and played most popular mmo, with a good chunck of thems doing either my RP on my own or with the established communities. Still, aion have a special place in my heart for his innovative style in the genre at the time with a more 3D exploration approach (mostly the abyss) while being the place i meet someone i can say to be my best game buddy!
While i am more of a casual in my RPs, as i like trying most of the contents and being awful at organising my free time i recently started to search for a new mmorpg to plant my claws in, both to enjoy the lore work as well as having more “player friendly” tools in my disposal.
As of now i am still doing RP from time to time on GW2, the lore is really nice and the races unique with a culture who charmed me. But nowaday i start to feel the lack of tools that the game was given for the rp community and wanted to try to find something who was more RP friendly with the tools and the world/map/ gameplay wise interaction it give the player.
As of now i’m hoping back on ESO while glancing at LOTRO on the side, but with how long there hasn’t been a fresh mmorpg on the market and my own nostalgia for aion i thought of giving it a go. Heard we doesn’t have a walking animation in aion 2 ? Well, let’s see what the game and devs have in store for the weast!
