It’s been 17 years and my memory is not at all what it was, but maybe we can find some old connections still. For me I was on the Asmodian side in the Legion dammerung. I played as an Assassin called Viara. I honestly don’t even remember how long I played, but I was very involved at the time, and I still have some memories of RP.
In Aion 2 I’m going Elyos this time. Right now I’m just leveling with a friend. I’m still sorting out my character and learning the game, as I’m sure many of us are.
Anyway. Who were you and what Legion were you in? Maybe someone will remember you.

Great idea! It’s always nice to find familiar faces!
In the beginning, my main was an Elyos Sorcerer named Annan, and I was a part of the legion “Accordance” through him. After Accordance dissolved, I began to experiment and fell in love with the Spiritmaster class, so my main became Perrinn, who was the Brigade General of the legion I founded called “Radiant Sky”. That was where I met my wife, who had always been Asmodian at heart, though by the time I dissolved Radiant Sky and we moved to the Asmodian side, the servers had already merged and RP was a rapidly dying art in Aion. 
My memory is also toast. Anyway, I was Isceroth on the Asmodian side, of the legion Symphony of Storms. He was a ranger who ascended before the cataclysm, and spent a good few hundred years being a crazy mountain hermit man. When he came back into society, he joined the SoS and that was sort of his fast track to becoming a “noble.” The fun of playing him was that he was exceptionally stoic, to the point of being funny.
One of my best RP memories from back in the day was at a Symphony of Storms induction ceremony. There was a character who was upset and crying. Isceroth noticed and asked her, “do you require an embrace?” This shocked the character, because Isc’ was far from the kind to offer a hug. She meekly said she did, so he then commanded the man standing next to her to “embrace” her.
He also said “indeed” instead of “yes” like… most of the time.
Symphony of Storms was a big deal back in the day! Y’all were probably the most active RP legion on the whole server.
