Now scattered to the winds, our players have been in search of a new MMORPG to enjoy together. Enter: Aion 2. Both of our Stewards (leaders) have come to Atreia, ready to carve out a story, with one being an alumni of Aion 2’s predecessor, actively engaged in the RP community. We are on NA East - Israphel, and are Asmodians. ## **The Story, Thusfar** **The Horizon Legion** is not a military brigade. In fact, it was born of the frustration of one relatively young Daeva who has had his fill of playing the part of a dutiful Daeva soldier. Rather than fight an endless, forever-stalemate war in the Abyss against Elyos and Balaur alike, Isce has returned to Asmodae and has begun to scout out talent for a band more worthy; One that is willing and ready to participate in _all_ facets of life as a Daeva, as was the norm in antiquity. As such, **The Horizon Legion** exists as something of a _start-up group of mercenaries, merchants, artists, explorers, healers,_ and other skilled Daeva who are not _yet_ or who are _no longer_ willing to join the demanding rank-and-file of military life. That said, **Horizon** understands that their prowess in combat may still be of use to Asmodian society at large, and does not completely eschew the call to arms in the Abyss, should it arise. They simply do not make a career of it. Like many legions, **Horizon** still honors some tradition–primarily one lifted of the founders’ own family’s since-retired legion, **Symphony of Storms** : Induction ceremonies, and the gifting of the Selvis. This ensures that **Horizon** members can communicate across vast distances, calling upon one another for assistance if ever the need arrives, should they be on separate adventures. ## **Out of Character** At present, **Horizon** has opened its doors to any and all Asmodian RPers on Israphel. If that is you, you are welcome to apply in-game. This does not need to be your final stop in the RP community, nor does it necessarily need to be your _in-character_ destination! You are free to stay while you seek out a better fit, or to opt to join us completely in-character later on as well. This can be your forever-Aion2-home, or just a temporary stay until you find your people. As we are just getting the gears turning: help us to shape our legion’s lore! Let us help you to shape your character! Creative input is the lifeblood of MMO-RP. You don’t need to bend your character to fit us, but rather, help us to adapt to your character, and other characters as they flow into the legion. While **Horizon** _does_ have a Discord, we are not yet set up for Aion 2, but will be soon. In the interim, we’re active on the Roleplayers of Aion 2 Discord. Join us there, and in-game, and keep watching the in-game announcements for more information on events to come! ---
