For launch Aion 2 has some roleplay options but with limitations. Most notable limitation is there is no walk option. There is also no sitting in chairs feature. However, there is a rest/sit emote, but this is more so a relax on the ground pose. You can try to use it on a stool/chair, but results may vary in how it all lines up.
We do know they plan to add housing and with what they have shown us so far there will be couches, so here’s hoping they will give us the option to at least sit in chairs in our houses.
Besides that, the game comes with a varied selection of emotes. There is no /em or /e function, but we can get around that by using */ or some other signifier. Each emote does have an associated text that shows up in the chat window except for rest/sit. There are also some emotes that you either have to earn or pay for in the item shop (><).
